Beginning in 2022, the Diocese of Scranton Office for Parish Life and the Scranton Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians will begin to offer monthly online liturgy network meetings on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month. These virtual meetings are geared towards those who coordinate parish liturgy—priests, deacons, parish life coordinators, liturgy directors, music directors and RCIA coordinators—but are open to anyone interested in promoting the celebration of the sacred liturgy. The sessions will give participants the opportunity to share best practices, express concerns, ask questions, and receive updates on diocesan, national and universal liturgical norms. The 2022 schedule for the Online Liturgy Network Meetings is as follows:
Tuesday, January 4 at 6:30PM
Monday, February 7 at 6:30PM
Tuesday, March 1 at 6:30PM
Monday, April 4 at 6:30PM
Tuesday, May 3 at 6:30PM
Monday, June 6 at 6:30PM
Tuesday, July 5 at 6:30PM

Tuesday, September 6 at 6:30PM

There is no need to register for the meetings. Parishes will be sent a link to the monthly meeting along with summary of the liturgical updates. All those registered on the Scranton NPM email list will also receive the link to the monthly meeting. If you are not on the Scranton NPM email list, you can register here.
